Jon Checkley – Typography - Artwork




	Jon Checkley has vast experience across most areas of advertising and design production. Having trained in graphic design and typography, he has worked as a typographic designer, artworker, studio manager and project manager. He is passionate about typography and lettering and has a very sharp eye for detail. Thorough and reliable, he is always happy to ‘muck in’ and do what is necessary to deliver ‘more than the client is expecting’ and on time. After many years of print experience, he has, of course, been working with digital formats for the last few years, including websites and HTML emails. Jon keeps up-to-date with the latest trends and developments by regularly attending talks and completing relevant training. He was President of The Typographic Circle for over ten years and is a member of the International Society of Typographic Designers, Chartered Society of Designers, Letter Exchange, The North London Lettering Association and The Society of Scribes and Illuminators. Jon is also chairman of a new build community project, which has taken him into new and challenging areas.
